Boston College Pro Day: Anthony Castonzo, Mark Herzlich Seek To Impress Scouts

Anthony Castonzo and Mark Herzlich will hit the field at Alumni Stadium for one final time on Wednesday, March 23, when they take part in the annual Boston College NFL draft-eligible workout, commonly know as Pro Day.

In four seasons in Chestnut Hill, Castonzo holds the career record for most starts with 54. He was named an Associated Press Third Team All-American and was an All-ACC First Team honoree.

Herzlich, who played in all 13 games this season after making a full recovery from Ewing's Sarcoma, won the Rudy Award and the ACC's Brian Piccolo Award. He finished his career at BC with 314 tackles, 11 interceptions and seven forced fumbles.

Castonzo is currently projected to be selected with the No. 19 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft while Herzlich is expected to go in the later rounds.

In addition to Castonzo and Herzlich, Boston College seniors Alex Albright, DeLeon Gause, Rich Lapham, James McCluskey, Jordon McMichael and Damik Scafe will also work out at Pro Day on Wednesday.

There will be several other players from surrounding schools that will participate in the Eagles' Pro Day, including the University of Massachusetts and Harvard.
