The 2011 NCAA Tournament started with 68 teams on Tuesday and now, less than a week later, it's down to the Sweet 16. Florida State's shocking dismantling of No. 2 seed Notre Dame Sunday night completed the third round and put in place the matchups and schedule for the Sweet 16.
Play begins Thursday night with four games, led by San Diego State meeting Connecticut at 7:15 p.m. EDT. Florida and BYU tip-off shortly thereafter, with the pair of nightcaps -- Duke-Arizona and Wisconsin-Butler -- starting around 10 p.m.
Kansas, which plays Richmond Friday at 7:27 p.m., arguably has the easiest path to the Final Four now: the Jayhawks face the No. 12 seed Spiders and then would play the winner of the No. 10 Florida State-No. 11 VCU matchup.
