Douglas Davis was the hero of the night in college basketball, sinking the game-winning shot with one second left to send the Princeton Tigers past the Harvard Crimson, 63-62, on Saturday afternoon in New Haven, Connecticut.
Not only did Davis' shot send Princeton past Harvard, but it also clinched an NCAA Tournament berth for the Tigers, who will be making their first trip to the big dance since 2004.
Harvard has not been to the NCAA Tournament since 1946, but the loss to Princeton on Saturday does not completely erase its chances, as the Crimson can still reach the NCAA Tourney by receiving an at-large bid on Selection Sunday.
