Yet according to A. Sherrod Blakely of CSNNE.com, a league source confirmed that Murphy had chosen Boston.
Murphy has averaged 11.8 points and 8.5 rebounds in ten seasons. This year, Murphy averaged a career-low 3.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 18 games with the New Jersey Nets, although he has not played in a game since January 7th.
