Just when you thought Dustin Pedroia has been quiet for a little too long, he told WEEI’s Alex Speier how excited he is to start Spring Training and “get focused on opening a can of whoop-ass.”
↵↵↵“It’s been a while. I’ve never been this excited,” Pedroia said of the prospect of getting to Fort Myers. “Everyone’s obviously excited with the team we’re going to have. … Just going out there and going to work, I can’t wait.”
↵
He added that the new-look Red Sox’ offense, which now feature Adrian Gonzalez and Carl Crawford, should “score a buttload of runs and do what we do.”
↵Good to know he hasn’t changed a bit.
