Breaking: Terriers Point Guard D.J. Irving To Miss Game Against Bucknell

Sophomore point guard D.J. Irving will miss Thursday night's contest against Bucknell due to a concussion. In a post on his facebook wall, Irving stated, "Game Tonight vs. Bucknell! I won't be playing due to a concussion. My Boys Still Going To Get The Job Done!!!!"

Irving is arguably Boston University's best player because of his ability to influence every part of the game. The speedy guard from Chester, PA is averaging 12.6 ppg, 4.9 apg and 3.4 rbg in over 33 minutes a game.

This will be the first game that Irving has missed in his two-year career on Commonwealth Avenue. He has been in the starting lineup for 43 of his 46 appearances in a Terrier uniform. Senior Matt Griffin will likely replace Irving in the Terriers starting lineup.
