College Football Rankings, Week 14: Virginia Tech No. 3 In USA Today/Coaches' Poll

Area schools Connecticut and Boston College both won this past weekend. Boston College finished the 2011 season at 4-8 (3-5 ACC). UConn is 5-6 (3-3 Big East) with one game left to play.

However, it was Virginia Tech (11-1, 7-1 ACC), a past Big East school and current ACC school, that made the biggest move up the polls with a win over Virginia. Virginia Tech moved up to No. 5 in the AP Poll and No. 3 in the current Coaches' Poll.
