Week 12 NFL Power Rankings: New England Patriots Stay Put In SB Nation Poll

Thanks to a dominating 34-3 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, the New England Patriots are now among the NFL elite with a 7-3 overall record, which is tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans for the AFC's No. 1 spot. However, the latest SB Nation Week 12 NFL Power Rankings has the Pats (ranked No. 7) below the Ravens (No. 3), Texans (No. 5) and Steelers (No. 6).

7. New England Patriots (7-3, LW: 7): New England looked sluggish in the first half on Monday night but, as they do, they quickly turned it into a rout over KC.

Though, SB Nation's NFL Edtior, Joel Thorman, admits that those teams ranked No. 3-9 could be flip-flopped in a lot of different ways.

As for the AFC East: The New York Jets are the second-highest ranked franchise at No. 13, while the Buffalo Bills are No. 17 and Miami Dolphins sit at No. 25.

Earlier Tuesday morning, SB Nation Boston took a look at where NFL.com, Pro Football Talk and SI.com's Peter King ranked the Patriots. Click here, to take a look.
