Ross Ventrone has been signed by the New England Patriots. Have you heard that one before anywhere? If you have been paying attention at all, you probably have, considering that Ventrone has been involved in a whopping 13 transactions with the Pats this season, between all the signings and cuttings and temporary promotions.
Ventrone is back with the Patriots again, as announced by the team on Thursday morning, as he was signed to the team’s practice squad prior to New England’s battle with the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday. Ventrone likely won’t play for the Pats in the game, and based on the trend, he’ll probably be released for the ninth time this season next week.
In order to make room for Ventrone, the Patriots cut ties with the 23-year-old Josh Victorian, who has been added to the team’s practice squad four times already this season. But like Ventrone time and time again, we all know that he’ll probably be back.
