North Carolina State Vs. Boston College Odds And Preview: The Wolfpack Visits The Eagles At Alumni Stadium

North Carolina State (5-4) will head to New England this weekend to take on Boston College (2-7) from Alumni Field at 12:30 p.m. ET.

North Carolina State will head to New England this weekend to take on Boston College from Alumni Field at 12:30 p.m. ET live at theACC.com/live or at ESPN3.com.

The Wolfpack (5-4) are coming off a shutout win over North Carolina 13-0 at home while the Eagles (2-7) are still licking their wounds from a 38-7 shellacking at the hands of Florida State. Both teams are deadlocked at -110 in the money line but Boston College is getting three points in the spread with an over/under of 45.

Our fiscal friends at Odds Shark have more:

Offensively, the game matches up Boston College's No. 113-ranked offense (18.4 PPG) against a Wolfpack defense that ranks No. 52 at 25.4 PPG. The Eagles passing attack has averaged 169.3 yards per game, less than the Wolfpack give up through the air (227.4 YPG on average). In comparing defenses, the Wolfpack own the league's No. 40-rated front 7 in terms of stopping the run, allowing 147 yards per game when on the road. Boston College, on the other hand, rates No. 99 this week in generating rushing yards at home.

While last week's drubbing against the Seminoles was a demoralizing loss, this is still a winnable game for Boston College, who are likely playing for their pride and can take advantage of an inconsistent N.C. State.
