Patriots Friday Injury Update: Brandon Spikes And Dane Fletcher Will Miss Jets Game

New England Patriots linebackers Brandon Spikes and Dane Fletcher will miss Sunday's game against the New York Jets due to injury.

The New England Patriots will be without starting linebacker Brandon Spikes for their Sunday night contest against the New York Jets, per the team's Friday injury report. Spikes is recovering from the strained MCL in his right knee he sustained in the second half of last week's loss to the Giants. Fellow linebacker Dane Fletcher will also miss the Jets game with a thumb injury.

Safety Patrick Chung returned to practice Friday after sitting out the previous two days with a foot injury and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game. In addition to Chung, the following Patriots are questionable for Sunday: cornerback Kyle Arrington (foot), defensive end Shaun Ellis(ribs), running back Kevin Faulk (knee), running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe), linebacker Gary Guyton(shoulder), linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee), wide receiver Taylor Price (hamstring), offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) and offensive lineman. Ryan Wendell (concussion).

Wide receiver Wes Welker (ribs) is listed as probable.
