Patriots' Danny Woodhead, Jerod Mayo Doubtful For Jets Game

The latest injury report from the practice facility of the New England Patriots practice facility features some good news and bad news.

The bad news is that star linebacker Jerod Mayo is listed as doubtful with a knee injury and might miss this weekends important AFC East battle with the New York Jets.  Also among the newly doubtful is Patriots running back Danny Woodhead, who's dealing with an ankle injury.

Among the good news for the Patriots, Albert Haynesworth and Aaron Hernandez have been upgraded to questionable and might see some action this weekend.  The team will likely take a more cautious approach with Hernandez considering the injury he's suffering through (MCL sprain) and the fact that fellow TE Rob Gronkowski has been among the best at his position this season.

Also on the positive side, defensive end Shaun Ellis has been upgraded to probable and should be available to play against his old team on Sunday along with safety Pat Chung.
