Patriots Thursday Injury Report: Dowling Doesn't Participate

New England Patriots cornerback Ras-I Dowling did not participate in practice Thursday due to a hip injury, but the rest of the injury report was unchanged from Wednesday. Dowling had practiced on a limited basis Wednesday and has not played in a game since being injured Week 2 against the Chargers.

New England Patriots cornerback Ras-I Dowling did not participate in practice Thursday due to a hip injury, but the rest of the injury report was unchanged from Wednesday. Dowling had practiced on a limited basis Wednesday and has not played in a game since being injured Week 2 against the Chargers.

Linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb) missed practice for the second straight day. Safety Josh Barrett (thumb), cornerback Leigh Bodden (thumb), running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe), defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth (back), linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee) and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) all practiced on a limited basis. Mayo has not played since injuring the MCL in his left knee Oct. 2 against the Oakland Raiders.

The Patriots next suit up this Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field.
