Boston Bruins center David Krejci has been ruled out of the teams game against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight because of continuing issues with an abdominal injury that he suffered in practice a week ago.
Krejci has been replaced on the top line by second year player Tyler Seguin with positive results. Seguin had a goal in the teams loss to the Hurricanes in Raleigh last week and then scored the game winning shootout goal on Saturday in the teams win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
In other injury news, defenseman Adam McQuaid, who was injured during that lost to Carolina, has been practicing but is considered a game time decision for tonight’s game. If he is unable to go Matt Bartkowski will take his place on the teams fourth line. Bartkowski has been up and down since replacing McQuaid, and coach Julien says he feels comfortable if Bartkowski needs to make another appearance tonight.
