The Patriots have signed defensive back Adam Phillips for the third time this season, presumably to give some more depth to a secondary hampered by second-round pick Ras-I Dowling's continuing struggle with injury.
↵Phillips, who has spent about three weeks on New England's roster between two stints earlier in the season, has only made appearances with the special teams unit in his tenure(s) with the team.
↵Right now it remains to be seen whether or not he'll even make it to the game against the Steelers--he was released just one day after being signed last Thursday.
