Bruins Forward David Krejci Injured In Practice

Boston Bruins forward David Krejci left the ice at the B's practice facility in Wilmington today with an apparent leg injury, though the extent of it isn't known yet.

Bruins coach Claude Julien wouldn't specify exactly what part of the leg Krejci injured and wouldn't shed any light on whether the B's forward would be available to travel with the team to Carolina for their battle with the rival Hurricanes tomorrow night at RBC Arena.

"I don't know, I can't really tell you the severity of it right now,'' Julien said after practice. "He's being looked at.''

If Krejci isn't healthy, he's unlikely to travel with the team to Raleigh and would probably be replaced on the top line by second year forward Tyler Seguin or seventh year forward Patrice Bergeron.

The Bruins are off to a 1-2 start in defense of their Stanley Cup Championship, and there are concerns that the team has been in too much of a comfort zone to begin the year.
