2011 NFL Playoff Schedule: Jets At Colts, Ravens At Chiefs In AFC Wild Card Round

While we wait for the Rams and Seahawks to determine the NFC West and the final playoff entrant from the NFC, we can look ahead to the schedule of the first round of the NFL playoffs.

Sunday afternoon's finals gave us our final look at the NFL playoff picture: the Colts won their game against the Titans, giving them the AFC South title and the No. 3 seed, knocking the Chiefs down to the No. 4 spot in the process. (Considering Indy was 6-6 at one point this season, that's no small feat.) The banged-up Jaguars lost their game to Houston, ending their playoff hopes.

In the NFC, the Giants did their part in beating the Redskins but it mattered not because Green Bay held on for a 10-3 over the Bears, meaning the Packers are in as the No. 6 seed, while 10-6 New York is left wondering what could have been.

2011 NFL Playoff Schedule:

AFC

No. 6 Jets at No. 3 Colts

No. 5 Ravens at No. 4 Chiefs

Byes: No. 1 Patriots, No. 2 Steelers

NFC

No. 6 Packers at No. 3 Eagles

No. 5 Saints at NFC West winner

Byes: No. 1 Falcons, No. 2 Bears

On Wild Card game from each conference will be played Saturday, Jan. 8 (one in the afternoon and one at night), with the other two games set for Sunday, Jan. 9.

The Divisional Round is set for Jan. 15-16. The times should be released later Sunday night.
