Tom Brady Reportedly Agrees To Four-Year Extension With Patriots

Tom Brady's Thursday began with a car accident. And now it ends with the announcement that a four-year, $76 million contract extension has been agreed upon, and will be finalized on Friday.

During halftime of the Vikings-Saints game on NBC, Peter King first broke the news, reporting that Patriots owner Robert Kraft told him the two sides had come to an agreement, finalizing a four-year deal that will keep Brady in New England through 2014, at $19 million per season.

It had been popular opinion that the two sides would reach a deal before the 2010 season started for the Patriots on Sunday.
