The Red Sox have brought Michael Bowden back up from Triple-A Pawtucket, according to a Brian MacPherson tweet.
As MacPherson points out, this is likely to be the Sox’ last call-up of the year. The minor league regular season ended yesterday, so if a player isn’t up yet, it’s hard to imagine they’ll be arriving anytime soon.
Bowden has been hit around some in his short time with Boston this year, allowing four earned runs in six innings on ten hits. Since returning to the minors, he’s allowed a pair of earned runs in just under four innings of work..
