Echoing what Tom Brady said on Monday -- that Bill Belichick told the Patriots' starters "get ready to play" -- Marc Bertrand of 98.5 The Sports Hub is reporting via Twitter that "the Patriots starters will be in there for the beginning of tonight's game." New England is set to play the Giants in their final preseason game of the year Thursday at 7 P.M. EDT.
It's still just a rumor at this point, but it's certainly worth following as the day progresses. Tom Brady has not played in the fourth preseason game since 2003.
