Bruins Featured On National Broadcasts In As Many As 13 Games In 2010-11

Avert your eyes and hide your children, Jack Edwards fans. As many as thirteen Bruins' games this year may not be broadcast on NESN.

Eleven of the Bruins' 82 games are scheduled to be broadcast by Versus, including the season opener against Phoenix in Prague, Czech Republic, and NBC has the option to cover the Bruins contests at Detroit (Feb. 13) and at New Jersey (Apr. 10).

SB Nation blog Stanley Cup of Chowder notes that the Bruins also make 31 appearances on Canadian national television, which means plenty of Don Cherry in HD for those lucky viewers who have Center Ice.

The remainder of the Bruins games televised in the states will be on NESN, so fans will never be too far removed from the commentary stylings of Mr. Edwards.
