On Wednesday, Robert Kraft reportedly said of the Tom Brady contract discussions, "We're cooking." Later in the day, he clarified that remark.
But from what I understand now, Kraft didn't hear the question clearly and his "we're cooking" comment was apparently a general reference to the first preseason game coming and football season creeping closer.
And really, that makes more sense; Kraft is not one to typically comment on contract negotiations.
