The 2010 MLB All-Star Game rosters were announced on Sunday, and while the Red Sox had six players selected -- Adrian Beltre, David Ortiz, Victor Martinez, Dustin Pedroia, Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz -- as Over The Monster points out, there was one noticeable omission:
↵↵↵Oh, right, Kevin Youkilis. One of the most productive batters in the league, an early MVP candidate, and in any reasonable world, an All-Star. He still has a chance to get in, but Youk should be in from the get go.
↵
But all is not lost, Red Sox fans: Youkilis is one of the five players in the American League included in the 2010 MLB ALL-Star Game Sprint Final Vote, the voting that is open to fans, and decides the who fills the final roster spot for both All-Star rosters.
↵If you want to help get Youk to Anaheim, go vote, early and often.
