Dustin Pedroia Will Reportedly Undergo Surgery On Friday
According to a report by Nick Cafardo in the Boston Globe, Dustin Pedroia is expected to have surgery on his foot on Friday, which would force him to miss the rest of the 2010 season (rehab is approximately three months).

Pedroia Meets With Dr. Gill, Not Expected To Need Surgery
Dustin Pedroia has his meeting with Red Sox Medical Director Dr. Thomas Gill on Monday as scheduled, as it was confirmed that the second baseman suffered a "non-displaced fracture of the medial navicular bone in his left foot." The good news is that it appears surgery will not be needed.

Dustin Pedroia Has Broken Bone In Foot, Placed On 15-Day DL
After fouling a ball of his left foot in Friday nights loss in San Francisco, Dustin Pedroia underwent a CT scan and X-rays on Saturday, and the results are not good: he was diagnosed with a "non-displaced fracture of the navicular mid-foot bone." Pedroia was promptly placed on the 15-day disabled list, and Angel Sanchez was called up from Pawtucket.
