Doc Rivers: 'I'm Coming Back.'
Lest that reports from unnamed sources not be entirely accurate, Doc Rivers removed all doubt Wednesday afternoon when he told the Boston Globe's Gary Washburn, "I'm coming back. I want another crack at it with this group."

Doc Rivers Returning To Celtics With Re-Worked Contract, Raise
Head coach Doc Rivers' return for the 2010-11 season was originally reported by the Boston Herald and then quickly confirmed by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, who added that the final year of his deal has been re-worked, and Rivers will see a raise from the $5.5 million he made last year.

Report: Doc Rivers Returning To Coach Celtics In 2010-11 Season
Put away your fears of seeing Vinny Del Negro on the bench (at least for now). The Boston Herald is reporting that head coach Doc Rivers is returning to the team for the final year of his contract, this according to "a source close to Rivers."

Doc Rivers: 'I'm Leaning One Way But I Haven't Decided'
Celtics' head coach (at least for now?) Doc Rivers made this season's final weekly appearance on WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Monday morning, and while he didn't say for certain whether or not he will be coaching Boston this fall, he did indicate that he is "leaning" one way. show for his final weekly visit of the 2009-10 season.
