Matsuzaka Not Worried About Arm Injury

After Daisuke Matsuzaka was a very late scratch from Saturday's game with tightness in his right forearm, the pitcher said he's not too concerned about it.

"I think I could've pitched through it," Matsuzaka said through translator Masa Hoshino, "but we talked about it and decided there's no sense in trying to compensate and making mechanical adjustments just to get through it. So, that was the decision."

"It's not a joint issue. It's muscle soreness, so I don't think it's going to take that long," Matsuzaka said.

Dice-K is expected to see team doctor Thomas Gill on Sunday.
