NCAA Basketball Rankings: Duke Leading AP Top 25 Poll Once Again, Boston College Moving Up

Duke (11-0) continues to enjoy the holiday season atop the AP Top 25 Poll, as it received all 65 first-place votes and 1,625 total points in this week's poll. The first eight ranking were unchanged from last week's poll.

Ohio State (12-0) ranked second with 1,550 points, Kansas (11-0) ranked third (1,480 points), Connecticut(10-0) ranked fourth (1,406 points) and Syracuse (13-0) was once again ranked fifth (1,397 points). Pittsburgh (12-1), San Diego State (14-0) and Villanova (10-1) were ranked sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.

The first change in this week's poll was Georgetown (11-1), which moved up one spot to No. 9. Missouri (11-1), which was ranked ninth last week, dropped to No. 10 this week.

Boston College (10-2) continues to garner national attention after its teriffic start. While the Eagles are unranked, they did received 17 votes in this week's AP Top 25 Poll after receiving two votes last week and one the week before.

While the Blue Devils were yet again the only ranked team from the ACC, rival North Carolina (8-4) did receive national recognition, collecting six votes.

No. 17 Kansas State (10-3) dropped six spots after being ranked No. 11 this week. Michigan State (8-4), which was ranked No. 12 last week, dropped eight spots to No. 20.

Louisville (10-1) jumped back into the AP Top 25 poll at No. 22 after being ranked 26th last week. No. 24 Vanderbilt (9-2) moved up three spots from No. 27 and 25th ranked Temple (9-2) jumped four spots from No. 29 last week.
