Tom Brady missed his first practice of the season Wednesday, and is now listed on the Patriots official injury report with a right foot injury (in addition to the shoulder ailment that has become standard).
In fact, it's the first time the quarterback was held out of a practice because of an injury since returning from a torn ACL in 2008.
It is likely much ado about nothing -- Brady was present at the Patriots' facility on Wednesday, and held his press conference as usual without any mention of an injury. But with the Patriots headed to Pittsburgh for a key AFC game with the Steelers, it's probably worth at least keeping an eye on this week.
