Patriots 'Very Close' To Trading Randy Moss To Minnesota

In Monday night's victory over the Miami Dolphins, Randy Moss was held without a pass. Turns out, if Jay Glazer's reporting is correct, Moss may never catch a pass for the Patriots again.

Yes, vikes and pats have been working on trade that sends randy moss to vikes and r very clode but can't be done until vikes and moss work out new contract, whcih they r working on.

Ignore the myriad of typos - I am sure he was typing faster than normal trying to be the first to break the news after ESPN's Adam Schefter took credit for breaking a different NFL trade earlier in the day that Glazer reported first - but this is definitely a doozy.

Moss played the first seven years of his career in Minnesota before recently starring for the New England Patriots after a two-year stint with the Oakland Raiders ended less than stellar.

This season, Moss has nine receptions for 139 yards and three touchdowns, but he was targeted just once in the Patriots' Monday Night Football victory over the Miami Dolphins.
