Patrick Chung Injures Knee In Win At Chargers, Reportedly Out 1-2 Weeks

Patrick Chung, the Patriots' second-leading tackler behind linebacker Jerod Mayo, left Sunday's game in the second quarter with a knee injury. At the time, the team ruled his return as "questionable," but the safety never returned.

It was apparently a non-contact injury, suffered on the same play when the Chargers' Richard Goodman fumbled, says the Herald's Ian Rapoport, who went back and watched the tape. After the game, Chung said, "It's all right."

But it's not all right: according to Gresh and Zolak of 98.5 Sports Hub, Chung will miss 1-2 weeks because of the injury

Chung, a second-year player drafted out of Oregon, had 13 tackles against the Ravens and has made strides as a key member of the Patriots' secondary this season.
