On Wednesday, the Atlantic Coast Conference basketball preseason honors were announced, with Duke the overwhelming favorite to repeat as league champions while Boston College was tabbed for a 10th-place finish, ahead of Virginia and Wake Forest.
The Blue Devils totaled 61 of a possible 62 first-place votes (the preseason order was voted on by by media members). Virginia Tech was picked second, with North Carolina tabbed to finish third.
Additionally, the ACC announced its Preseason All-Conference Team, as well as the Player and Rookie of the Year picks.
