Junior Seau, retired NFL linebacker, was reportedly arrested early Monday morning in San Diego on "suspicion of domestic violence," according to TMZ.
Per the TMZ report, Seau was arrested and booked into the Vista Detention Facility "around 2:00 A.M.," and then released shortly thereafter, at 3:20 A.M.
Then things got kinda strange.
Again, from a TMZ report, just hours after his release, Seau drove his SUV off a cliff in Carlsbad, California, suffered "injuries" and was taken to the hospital.
Seau spent 17 seasons in the NFL, including four with the Patriots.
