The New England Revolution spent most of the match chasing the ball and struggling in possession, but in the end they were able to nick away a win over the Montreal Impact in their 2012 finale. A.J. Soares' headed goal late in the match stole the full three points and sent a healthy contingent of traveling fans home happy.
