SB Nation's latest NFL Power Rankings drop the Patriots to No. 9 after their bye week.

SB Nation's NFL Power Rankings for Week 10 have been released, and the New England Patriots are ranked 9th after sitting through a bye week. The Patriots (5-3) dropped three spots after NFL Editor Joel Thorman ranked New England No. 6 last week.

The Patriots, who are coming off a dominating 45-7 victory over the St. Louis Rams in London, are still the top ranked team in the AFC East. The Miami Dolphins (No. 14), Buffalo Bills (No. 25) and New York Jets (No. 26) are all slotted below the Pats'.

Here's what Thorman had to say about New England:

9. New England Patriots (LW: 6, 5-3): Next four: Bills, Colts, at Jets, at Dolphins. New England is prepping for its annual run.

(Thorman's complete NFL power rankings can be read here.)

Overall, SB Nation still has the undefeated Atlanta Falcons as the top team, while the Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers round out the top 5, respectively.

Compared to other national power rankings, the Patriots are still a top 10 team. ESPN.com and FOX Sports' Brian Billack rank New England No. 9 and eight. CBS Sports' Pete Prisco has the Patriots No. 6 overall.
