Revolution Vs. Whitecaps Final Score: Lee Nguyen Scores Twice As New England Routs Vancouver 4-1

Behind two goals and one assist from Lee Nguyen, the New England Revolution earned a blowout 4-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday at Gillette Stadium. The Revolution (4-6-0) collected their second victory in three games and scored four goals for the first time since last September.

Saer Sene and Shalrie Joseph each tallied goals in the first half for the Revs, who returned to their old 4-4-2 alignment after trying a 4-5-1 in their 2-1 loss to Real Salt Lake last Saturday.

Revs' goaltender Matt Reis was key in the victory, as he made a huge first-half save that kept the Whitecaps off the scoreboard and ended the game with eight saves.

Next Saturday, New England will play its second straight home match when the Houston Dynamo visit Gillette Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m.
