Shalrie Joseph will return to the New England Revolution, re-signing with the club as one of its designated players. Joseph has played with the Revs for his entire Major League Soccer career and originally joined the team in 2003.
"I'm very excited to stay in New England," said Joseph (via RevolutionSoccer.net). "I've made this my home and I can't imagine playing for another team besides the Revolution. I'm looking forward to getting back out on the field next year and going after an MLS Cup championship for our fans and for this city."
Joseph is entering his 10th season with New England and is tied with current head coach Jay Heaps and goalkeeper Matt Reis for the longest tenured player in club history. Joseph has played in 243 career games with the Revs and has started a team-record 239 games. He has scored 36 goals, fifth all-time in team history, and has 31 assists (third most in team history) while ranking first in Revs career penalty kicks with 12.

"Getting him re-signed was a top priority for us this off-season.
