Stay connected for news and updates

Tom Brady was one of the names added to the New England Patriots' injury report on Wednesday after being limited in practice due to his right shoulder. The Patriots who did not participate at all in Wednesday's practice were defensive end Brandon Deaderick (ankle), wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle), defensive tackle Justin Francis (ankle), guard Logan Mankins (hip), and tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle). This was the first practice Mankins has missed since coming off the PUP list in August.

Limited in practice on Wednesday were Brady, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring), lineman Nick McDonald (shoulder), cornerback Sterling Moore (knee), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back), and running back Shane Vereen (foot). The Pats removed safety Patrick Chung, center Dan Connolly, tight end Daniel Fells, and wide receiver Brandon Lloyd from the team's injury report.

The Patriots next opponent, the Buffalo Bills had a far smaller injury report on Wednesday. The Bills were without running back C.J. Spiller (shoulder), wide receiver Ruvell Martin (ankle), and cornerback Leodis McKelvin (groin). Running back Fred Jackson was able to practice for the first time since injuring his knee in the Bills opener, but was limited.
