The second round of the 2012 NFL Draft was supposed to be the final one in which the New England Patriots drafted. But after trading down from one of their second round picks, the Patriots now have one more chance to be on the clock Saturday when day three of the draft begins.
New England traded one of its second round picks and used the other to select Tavon Wilson, a defensive back from Illinois. The Patriots used the third round pick they received in the deal to select Jake Bequette, a defensive end from Arkansas, and still have a fifth rounder waiting during day three.
