2012 NFL Draft Best Available: New England Patriots With Two Picks In Round Two

The New England Patriots significantly changed their entire NFL Draft strategy Thursday night, trading up not once, but twice to select Chandler Jones of Syracuse and Dont'a Hightower of Alabama.

The second round of the draft begins Friday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. The 2012 NFL Draft best available players can be found at SB Nation's Mocking The Draft.

New England has just two picks left in the draft because of the trades to acquire Jones and Hightower, but both of those picks are in the second round. After using Day One to solidify their defense, expect the Patriots to take the best player available when they choose in round two -- or expect them to revert to their old tricks, trading down in the draft to acquire more value for their selections.
