NFL Mock Draft 2012: New England Patriots Select Devon Still, DT, Penn State

In Mocking The Draft's latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft, Brad Wells predicts that the New England Patriots will ship away one of their first-round picks and use the other to select Devon Still, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound defensive tackle from Penn State.

27. New England Patriots

Devon Still | Defensive tackle | Penn State: The annoyingly patient Patriots simply sit and wait while everyone else trades for need players. At pick 27, Devon Still falls into their lap, a defensive tackle for a team that really needs better interior line play to compliment Vince Wilfork. Remember, the Pats play more of a 4-3 base defense now, and Still offers Bill Belichick more options along his front.

New England often trades its draft choices for future value, and Still would fit a need if he falls that far in the first round. The Penn State product is No. 20 on National Football Post's 2012 NFL Draft Big Board, so there's a chance he isn't around by the time the Patriots are on the clock.
