As reported earlier in the week, New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocino was expected to return for the 2012 season, however, it seems that his price is coming at a reduced rate. According to ESPN.com's NFL insider Adam Schafter via Twitter, Ochocino has restructured his deal to be more friendly for the Patriots.
Patriots WR Chad Ochocinco restructured his contract for coming season, lowering base salary from $3 million to $1 million. Back to NE.

Last offseason, Ochocinco was traded to the Patriots from the Cincinnati Begals after the former Pro Bowler restructured his deal. His time spent with the Super Bowl-runner ups wasn't a productive one, as Ochocinco caught a career-low 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown. It was only his fourth season without reaching 1,000 yards receiving during his 11 years in the NFL.
