Super Bowl 2012, Deion Branch: 'This Is Where I Want To Retire'

Following the Patriots' devastating 21-17 loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, every player on their roster was very upset that they didn't pull off a win. However, when it's all said and done, they want another shot at it, playing for this team.

Among them is 11-year NFL veteran Deion Branch, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in a matter of days. Assuming the Patriots will bring him back (which is a lock), Branch wants it known he wants to not only return, but finish his career in New England.

"This is where I want to be, this is where I want to retire," he said after Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI. "This is why I came back, for the opportunity to play in this game. I'm pretty sure I will be here in this position next year." (via ESPN)

In 2011, Branch was instrumental part of the Patriots success, totaling 51 catches for 702 yards and five touchdowns.
