After dropping a heart-breaking 21-17 decision to the New York Giants in Sunday night's Super Bowl, the New England Patriots probably won't find much solace in the Las Vegas sports books. But if they did, they would be happy to learn they have been labeled next year's Super Bowl favorites.
According to MGM Grand's sport book, the Patriots are the favorites to win Super Bowl XLVII at 5/1 odds. The Green Bay Packers trail at 11/2 odds, followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles, both given 6/1 odds. The New York Giants have 8/1 odds to repeat as Super Bowl champions next season.
