The Patriots hold a two-point lead in the last few minutes of Super Bowl XLVI but nothing is certain and Eli Manning and the Giants are easily capable of winning the game. What will help the Patriots is to score to get some breathing room, what won't help them is dropped passes.
On a second-and-11 play in the Patriots' last drive, Tom Brady dropped back and threw a pass to a wide open Wes Welker, which would have given New England a first down. Unfortunately, Welker was unable to come down with the ball.
Here's commentator Chris Collinsworth saying that Welker would catch that pass 100 out of 100 times.
The Patriots still lead but the Giants are threatening. This single play could be the biggest in the game, at least in the minds of Patriots fans, depending on the outcome.
