Super Bowl 2012, Patriots Vs. Giants: Boston Red Sox Wish Pats Well

Nowhere else is the sports community as tight knit as it is in Boston. It seems like all of the coaches of the four major teams -- the Patriots, the Red Sox, the Celtics and the Bruins -- are all friends and fans root for each and every team.

That brotherly love was put on display Sunday afternoon, when the Boston Red Sox sent out a Tweet to the New England Patriots, who take on the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI, wishing them luck and cheering them on.

Of course, the Patriots took notice, and they thanked the Red Sox for their well wishes.

Thanks! RT @RedSox: The #RedSox wish @Patriots the best of luck in the #SuperBowl tonight! #BeatNY #PatsXLVI

The Sox will be represented at Super Bowl XLVI, as newly hired manager Bobby Valentine will be in attendance and watching from a box. It wouldn't be surprising to see some other Red Sox players there, too. Unfortunately, there may even be some Yankees there, too. I know, who would give them tickets?
