Kyle Arrington: 'You Can't Think About The Past'

Following the New England Patriots' Super Bowl XLVI loss to the Giants, many players on the roster are trying to move on from the team's second straight loss in the big game, including cornerback Kyle Arrington.

While he was back in Massachusetts this weekend to help raise money for a fallen firefighter, Arrington spoke with the Boston Globe about the team's heartbreaking loss. Arrington says he he's tried not to think about the team's loss, saying that "you can't think about the past". More from Arrington:

"That's our goal every year. It's always one step at a time: win our division, get a spot in the playoffs. Anything short of not winning it all - I won't say it wasn't a successful season, but our goal wasn't reached. It wasn't attained." (via Boston Globe)

Arrington's 2011 season shouldn't be all for lost however. The third year corner out of Hofstra was tied for the NFL lead in interceptions with seven this year. Arrington also came up with 88 tackles, which was good enough for second on the team.
