2012 Super Bowl, Deion Branch: 'Excited For The Opportunity'

Since he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2006, longtime New England Patriots wide receiver Deion Branch's last Super Bowl came in a different uniform when he and the Seahawks lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XL.

Now that he's back with the Patriots and back in the Super Bowl, Branch has been reminded so much this week about the times in 2004 and 2005 when he won two Super Bowls with New England. Because he hasn't felt the feeling of going to a Super Bowl since 2006, he's very excited about possibly getting a his third ring with the Patriots.

"It's been a long time man. I'm very excited for the opportunity and very thankful, very thankful. It's an honor to be a part of this team and have the opportunity to play in this game again but I think we're all excited." (via Patriots.com)

Because this will Branch's fourth Super Bowl he's participated in, he obviously has one of the better understandings of how to prepare this game. With the team containing young stars like Rob Gronkowski and Jerod Mayo on both sides of the ball, Branch passes on some advice to the younger players about how to prepare for the big game.

"Just to take it all and just try not to do anything special [or] spectacular. Just do what we've been doing all year and embrace the moment. You know this opportunity may not happen again and that's for all of us. Jus embrace this and be thankful. Go out and just do your job and we'll be OK." (via Patriots.com)
