Maybe Bobby Valentine can pick up a few tips and tricks from Bill Belichick next weekend, as the new manager of the Boston Red Sox will be traveling to Indianapolis to support Belichick and the New England Patriots as they take on the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5. Valentine grew up as a Giants fan, but is be rooting for the Pats now.
"It was hard not to root for the Giants growing up," Valentine said. "But I told Bill (Belichick) that I'll be there and I'll be there rooting for him." (via Boston Globe)
Valentine was invited to the box of former Dolphins coach Don Shula to watch the game. On Thursday night, Valentine predicted a Patriots victory over the Giants -- slightly different from what "Princess" the camel predicted would happen.
