Super Bowl 2012, Patriots Vs. Giants: Camel Picks Giants To Win

The camel has spoken. A camel named "Princess" has picked the New York Giants to defeat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Well, it was fun thinking the Patriots could win for a little while, right? But what are you going to do? When the camel decides, the camel decides.

Seriously though, Princess is a star of the Popcorn Park Zoo in New Jersey and has accurately picked the winner of five of the last six Super Bowls. Impressive, no doubt. In the regular season, Princess predicted 14 of 20 regular season games correctly, too. How, you say? See below.

The Bactrian camel's prognostication skills flow from her love of graham crackers. Zoo general manager John Bergmann places a cracker and writes the name of the competing teams on each hand. Whichever hand Princess nibbles from is her pick. On Wednesday, she made her pick with no hesitation at all, predicting bad news for Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, even though the Las Vegas oddsmakers have New England favored by about 3 points. It was fun while it lasted, huh? Again, when the camel says it's hopeless, it's hopeless.
