Broncos Vs. Patriots, 2012 NFL Playoffs: New England Favored By Two Touchdowns

The Denver Broncos won eight regular season games all season. The New England Patriots won their final eight regular season games. Tim Tebow is essentially a rookie quarterback making his second playoff start. Tom Brady has won three Super Bowls and 14 playoff games, trailing only Joe Montana.

It's no wonder, then, that the Patriots are two touchdown favorites when the teams meet on Saturday night (8 p.m.) in the 2012 NFL Playoffs.

The Patriots marched into Mile High Stadium on Dec. 18 and emerged with a 41-23 victory. The Patriots tallied 451 total yards, including 320 by Brady, and forced three Denver turnovers en route to erasing an early deficit and running away with an easy win.

New England has lost three straight playoff games, all at home, but Denver should be a good matchup for Bill Belichick's boys. Tim Tebow, despite his terrific performance against Pittsburgh last week, has not consistently shown the accuracy to take advantage of New England's often-porous secondary.
